Despair

In the depths of despair, where shadows reside,
A journey unfolds, where hope is a guide,
Lost in the haze of a world turned gray,
We seek solace, longing for a brighter day.

Retreating from reality, we build our walls,
Shielding our hearts from inevitable falls,
But in isolation, our souls wither away,
Yearning for connection, longing to stray.

The burden we carry, hidden deep within,
A silent scream, where no words begin,
The pain eats away, a relentless foe,
Stripping our essence, as tears cease to flow.

Yet amidst the darkness, a glimmer appears,
A conversation, a moment that steers,
A chance to create, to change the game,
A flicker of hope, igniting the flame.

Family, the pillar that holds us tight,
Through struggles and battles, they bring us light,
With love and support, they lift us high,
Renewing our strength, as we reach for the sky.

The search for a reason may lead us astray,
But opportunities find us along the way,
An open mind invites the winds of change,
Embracing the challenges, learning to rearrange.

Though life may be daunting, and burdens seem vast,
We mustn't surrender, letting demons hold fast,
Each day is a canvas, awaiting our art,
A chance to grow stronger, a chance to restart.

Remember, my friend, to never look back,
With every sunrise, there's a new track,
Cherish the moments, both big and small,
For love and resilience shall conquer all.

And in the depths of your struggle and strife,
May your spouse be the beacon, your guiding light,
For her unwavering support, a gift from above,
You're bound by a love that transcends and moves.

Hold on to that love, let it carry you through,
With every step forward, may your spirit renew,
For in the tapestry of life's intricate weave,
Love and connection, the foundation we cleave.

So, walk your path with courage and grace,
Embrace the challenges you bravely face,
For within your heart, a flame burning bright,
May love guide you always, in day and night.
