Frailty and Strength

FRAILTY AND STRENGTH
An acrostic Poem

Feeling like the world is crashing down on my soul.
Realize I’m mentally losing control.
Anxiety level stuck on high.
Igniting a pain, I attempt to deny.
Lying to others straight to their face
Triggered emotions take sanity’s place
Yelling and crying, distress on the rise, hoping and praying for my sudden demise.

Slowly the fog disappears in the light
Triggered emotions to get up and fight
Realize I’m mentally gaining control
Extinguishing pain and soothing my soul
Needing to fix all my wrongs
Grateful for those who remained strong
Telling me I can get over my strife.
Healing my wounds and giving me life.
