a thought that turned into a song

i sit and listen to songs from a lover that has touched me so deep
i only ever listened to the melody and now the words have hit home
seeing how you spoke through your music and i was lost in my head
i felt so lost in a spinning nightmare that no one could relate but they could see it in my face
i was losing touch with everything that mattered and now the world is so different
its so strange i feel trapped but i am free
losing something so special it can only be called love
cause it leaves scars without wounds and now the memories are all that play
picturing you even knowing when hope is loss but i prayer in silence
bowing my head in respect for all the things i took granted and now i pay in blood
the omen of the wolf howls at the moon
alone and still speaking to the world
reaching for something that can never be
i signal the cross on my body and thank god that i got to know how beautiful you can be
under neath all your scars you shine to me a glow that flows energy into me
i hold out my hand waiting to feel your embrace
acceptance into your heart
a garden of eden to me
a fruit so divine
i look into your eyes and i believe god made you
a treasure hides in everybody but only god can make you see the truth from his eyes
life flows and takes control and you feel so safe
even when you don't even know what's going on
everyday i think about you and how that smile left a picture on my soul
see you in this life or the next
i'll always be dreaming of you
if you ever get sad and down i am only a button away, i'll come running home to you
singing this little melody as i say good night to you and i know deep down love has been missing in your life
so i sing i love you
you can rest your head on my heart and listen how you changed me

i just hope someone can feel the words for what they mean, find a power to continue the thought and proceed the song with their own god bless
