HAPPY

R.J. Bernard 2007 (Massachusetts)

Woke up so well, saying today will be a great day

I am still to be wrong; I hope I right

The only time I hope I'm right

I'll be the first to admit I haven't been perfect

Sometimes I can't admit when I do right

I get nervous sometimes for no reason

But I must find a way to be happy

Awaking up in the light has shown me

That I can learn to be happy

That I can lean to be happy

That I can learn to be happy

I aint praying to a god for this, I aint lying to myself for this, I aint talking about how I feel.

I have no excuses

Living in my own mind, isn't ideal but it'll work for now

Truth is I need to spill the beans and talk but trusting isn't something I do much

Counting the days when some of my friends leave me, either because of my mouth or the lack of it.

Half the time I can't say words because my mind gets overwhelmed,

Who would I be if I was happy?

Id probably make less jokes about the people I lost, id floss more,

Take care of myself properly

Get rid of my thoughts in my head, and find a way to be happy
