Now the sun rises

Now the sun rises
on the new day
I think of the
possibilities that exist
words that have
already been spoken
give such promise between us
I thirst for another word
from you
a sentence or even a syllable
would quench this thirst
I have for you now
Come to my rescue!
I will be waiting here
until you give me strength
There is a danger in knowing you.
of losing my heart to you
but a price I would gladly pay
to experience something
that could exist only
in my dreams...

Poetry is the truth that ones heart speaks to another that understands its language. Pure and sincere, its song can be heard by those who will listen more…
