Caged Femininity

I want to touch the sun
But its a long long run

The shackles in my feet
While people find it elite

Restricts me from flying
Since childhood I'm trying

They say I will bloom
But it only brings gloom

I cannot dance, nor can I swirl
Because they say "I'm a girl"

I want to go wild
My heart is still a child

The heart meant to fly
Is turning dry and dry

They put my heart in cage
And no one feels some rage

One day I will fly
But it will be the last try

Then life will loose its meaning
As blur as now its seeming
