The Toast -TO INFINITY

It's been a pretty long time, let's sit and drink.
Let's make a toast to those days we never saw, we never talked.
Those times we are so occupied, struggling and solving the problems of life, and making ends meet, and the thought of you had no pace to rest in my mind, almost forgetting any of us existed.

Let's make a toast because we understand it's life. Lets make a toast because no matter how long we'd still be friends.
Let's make a toast because when we get to see, it would be an exciting moment. Let's make a toast because anytime  I seem to get rest and the thought of you cross my mind, I smile, and I'm overwhelm with joy cause I met someone like you.

Let's make a toast because we get to see again.
When we are old and grey, let's make a toast because we've come a long way.
And when it's the last time, let's make a toast to infinity.

About this poem

I wrote this poem because of friends and loved who think we don't care about them, but we feel life differently and we are out for ourselves first to survive and live to be with them. But sometimes they're too irrational to understand. This poem is to our friends, that, no matter what we still care, we're still buddies and we love them till infinity.

I am a fashion designer, I play lawn tennis once while for fun and enjoy writing occasionally which serves as a means to understand life for me and express emotions. more…
