Sink In

Sink in.
In your thoughts,
In oceans of words,
Full of waters of yourself.
Sink in,
In the depth of your heart
Beyond the walls of your soul.
Sink in,
In those moments
Made through your mind,
About thousand lives,
Of shadows throughout the existence,
Of walking desires beneath your skin.
Sink in,
Do not fight against,
Against the temptation of letting go.
From ashes to ashes,
From dust to dust.
To old beginings of new tomorrows,
To a distant present
Of an undiying past
Because of the tiring persistence of the future.
Sink in,
Sink in.
For there, while immersing in you,
Every imagination shall become freedom...
And freedom shall become you.

About this poem

I wrote this poem about me, I'm trying to express the need in me to go after the unknown wich spreads itself inside me. This unknown is nothing more than the void I feel in the place of my soul. It's about melancholy, solitude and my own way of understanding my position towards these feelings In me because at the end, it's all life pulsating with the beating of my heart, with my breathing, on and on untill I cease to exist.
