Lost

I remember you less each day
Your laugh, Your smile, Your gentle way.
I envy the birds  with their chirps and chuckles, Oh how I used to be free, but the thoughts shoved me deeper inside,
and although I shout, they will not let me out
 the casket doors closing down,
Oh, how I drown the happiness out
I'm a summer with a slumber sun
My bright smile went like the moon without light
Meanwhile, darkness guarded the coffin I lay in
While I discarded the spark
Blue oceanless eyes which the skies will never see
Oh, joy, why did you leave me?
Oh, how could this be?
I tried to do what I could and wear a smile,
But then, once more, You start to fade.
I try and try
Only to find That you're not here
 And I remain.
