Out of the fog

It's been for every since I've been confused and not seen things clear, like I've been caught in a smoke filled room with no air,
Finally, my demons open a window just the slightest bit to test me one more time to see if I'm up for it.
As the smoke seeps out of the window, I'm starting to barely breathe, and from the demons and smoke, I feel a release. I venture on my journey, a path only I can walk, but family, sanity, and sobriety I will be released from the fog.
