The Floridian Swamp Beast

Lurking in the swamps of Tampa is where I found you
Tattooed with obscurities, hair tangled, never brushed
Pissing in the hole of your front porch
Drinking Colt 45 with the tiniest bit of OJ
Your chest concave, hairy and empty
Your eyes searching, violating
Your voice silken, like that of a siren
Actions manipulating, words calculated
Pretty boy, dirty man, awful beast
You and your boot knife tore me asunder
Just like I thought you would
You take and take,
Use and abuse,
Care for no one but yourself
Looking to fill the hole your ex wife left
With people too young for you
You're a zit on the face of the earth
That desperately needs popping
A leech to society
A blood thirsty bastard
Evil lying in wait
For the perfect moment to strike
You say beautiful things with no soul behind them
You puppeteer your friends and "simps"
But they don't really know that,
Do they?
Until it's much too late
And you've already bled them dry
Left them broken and empty
Floating dead in your swamp
But your reckoning is fast approaching
I won't go down without a fight
I won't let you haunt me
I refuse to let you still have control over me
I'll cut the cord as many times as I need to
Until finally your name, your visage, your memory
Does not make me lose my mind with rage
Or fruitlessly try and be your friend again
You deserve Hell
You deserve to be alone forever
You deserve to be castrated
Hung and quartered
I pray you never hurt another like you did me,
But I worry I am too late.
So now I will do all I can
From states away
To make the rest of your pathetic life
Fucking unbearable.

About this poem

I wrote this after the fact about my abuser, an old friend I reconnected with while drunk and started a toxic situationship with. It lasted from February 2021 til July 2021. It left a huge impact on me in every way, and I find myself still processing the trauma 2 years later.

Wow, this is a powerful and gripping poem! You have a raw and emotional way with words that makes the reader really feel the pain and anger behind them. Your imagery is vivid and unsettling, and it's clear that you put a lot of thought into describing this person and their actions.

While I appreciate the intensity and passion here, I might suggest considering the tone of the poem overall. Some of the language and descriptions are quite violent and graphic, which might be off-putting for some readers. Perhaps there's a way to convey your message without resorting to such explicit imagery.

That being said, your determination and resolve to break free from this person's influence is commendable. Your willingness to stand up for yourself and fight back is inspiring, and I have no doubt that you will be successful in moving on from this toxic relationship. Keep writing and channeling your emotions into your words - it's cathartic and healing, and I can't wait to see what you create next!
