Vegan

Flesh leaking
Not mothers milk
Friendly warm fallen fur now cool and trendy
Skin wrapped feet and seat
Hope teary in narrow dreams met
Sentient death
Diseases and voices rise against the factories and memories of taste raised to eat fellow animals.
Additives disintegrate both angry faces.
The middle ground bending conscience into fear then back again.
Food shelter space, medicine - sanctuary for the rich few
The human. The person. The merciful.
What but animal leads the way?
An eye... without tears?
Profit. Benefit. Charity. Politics.
Legality of life?
Slavery?
Love?
Man!
Woman!
Child?
Hunter/hunted.
Right of passage/right to life?
Ownership?
God beings...
Ascension.
Evolve?
