Choices

Dawn Renee Hill 1973 (Panama City, Florida)

Frozen inside myself…i cannot breathe.
Blinded to the facts that i cannot see.
Living inside myself, i cannot feel.
This world around me, it cannot be real.
A fork in the road, which way do you take?
Right or wrong, these are the choices we make.
If you go right, you’ll wish you’d gone left.
We live our lives thinking the other way is best.
Even when there’s no option, there’s always a choice.
Choose to stay silent, or choose to have a voice.
Words of wisdom aren’t always wise.
Things left unsaid cannot be called lies.
Faster and faster, i’m reaching my last breath
Another day gone is a day closer to death.
Eves of tomorrow or a dawn of a new day,
They all run together now with the games people play.
