ladies and gentlemen, the Beatles!
ladies and gentlemen, The Beatles!
oh yeah I
tell you something
I think you'll understand
when I
say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand...
thank you
well
that was crazy
yeah, I know, mate
I mean
this
this
reaction we're getting
it's fuckin' bonkers, you know
I mean
this is mayhem
Paul
are we really that fuckin' good, mate?
level with me
cause
I'll admit it
I'm a little scared, mate
I don't want some young girl, you know
killing herself over us, or something
well, I hear ya, Ringo
I mean, this splash we're making
I think I can say
it's blowing all our minds
right, guys?
yeah
oh yeah, definitely
this is wild
it's completely unprecedented
far as I can see, mates
never been nothing like it
like
ever
I gotta say it
we're bigger than Jesus
they're screaming like we're gods, mates
this
is
crazy
man, guys, I just wanted to have a
solid band, guys
play good rock 'n roll
see how long I could last it
before having to
get
a
real
job
I mean
we're all gonna be
millionaires
when our next checks come
I can for sure say that
we'll never have to work again
that's obvious, isn't it?
we can be glad about that
what's it really all about, John?
you're the 'smart one' ha ha
lad from Liverpool
what's it all about, in essence?
I'm ready
tell us, mate
well
it's about
music
rock 'n roll
music
you see there's gonna be a lot of great bands
and
great singers
to follow us
in
rock 'n roll music
almost definitely in some
derivative
other
styles, too
music is fundamental
it's hugely moving
hugely joy-causing
and
we
represent the promise
of
much, much
great music
and
great times with dancing and singing and loving
music, mates
that's all I can say
well, hey
I don't care about the bleedin' money, mates
I care about the band
and
making rock music that lives up to the hype
ya ask me?
we should get ambitious, and
talk to George about
making some
landmark
albums
be really ambitious
and
grow
grow musically
and
grow our sound
even if we can't, you know
play
it
live
anymore
the money means diddly-squat
to
me
I hear ya
yeah
I hear that, too, mate
great point
let's get creative, and
really blow the fans minds right back
the way
they're blowing ours with this
reception
we're getting
agreed
well, hey
guys
I just care about you
you, John
you, Paul
and
you, George
I love you
and
I just wanna make sure
that
we all stay
close, good friends
for
life
you know, I wasn't too popular
back in high school
funny looking, you know
and
I really love you guys
for Pete's sake, I'm
just the drummer
'the funny one', but
I don't want things to get all tossed about between us
that's what I care about
more than anything
Ringo, you know
you're
the
most
important member of the band
as
the drummer
I know you can handle it
I got faith in you
and
I wouldn't want anyone else but you
as
our backbone...
friends?
friends!
The Beatles?
The Beatles!
rock 'n roll!!!
