What is Love?

Is it our bodies?
Is it our soul?
Is it half?
Is it whole?

Is it the world, material?
Is it the spiritual, etherial?
Is it an element?
Is it a sentiment?
What is sentient?

Is it a paradigm?
Is it a clever rhyme?
Is it perspective
Is it reflective?
Is it energy?
What does matter?

It is deeper than worldy
It is deeper than burly
It is deeper than feeling
It is deeper than kind
It is deeper than breath
It is deeper than mind

It is deeper than self
It is deeper than God
It is in the individual
Before the whole
It is life that beckons
It is the answer to the questions

It is intent
It is rest
It is taught
It is wrought
It is goodness
It is freedom
It is the kingdom

It is something inside
It is a light to find
It reflects inward
It reflects outward
You paint you
You paint your whole world

About this poem

There are so many that claim to know the problems. There are so many that claim to have the answers. This poem is an brief attempt to answer the questions and the answers. This poem is an attempt to free you. The answer is within before it is without or with. Love is through a process of becoming love. Then can you be or have love.
