WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

Amanda D, White 1985 (El Paso, TX)

WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

I am not used to being treated like you have ALWAYS treated me.

I feel like I REALLY do MATTER to you. Like this CURSE I have felt would ALWAYS follow me my whole life, is FINALLY leaving me be.
WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

I keep asking myself… What if this is ALL A DREAM?

Will I wake up and be BACK IN HELL?

Wake up and find that I never met you and never experienced REAL LOVE!

Wake up and still be SOMEONE’S PUNCHING BAG!

Still be someone not to be noticed unless called upon to do someone else's bidding.

To still be Worthless, used, Abused, Pushed aside like dirt, someone used as a RAGDOLL, and Completely INVISIBLE!
WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

Since I met YOU… I feel ALIVE!

I can’t go back to being EMPTY!

YOU have shown me the LIGHT!

My DARKNESS is GONE!
WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

You say… GO UP, If you fall I WILL CATCH YOU!

You say… I am safe with you. I FEEL IT!

You say to TRUST you… I WILL!
WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

I say… I AM SCARED! You tell me to have NO FEAR, I GOT YOU!

I say… I don’t know what to do! You tell me NOT TO WORRY, I’ll be YOUR GUIDE!

I believe I have FINALLY found my SAFE PLACE!

Somewhere I can BE ME!
WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

I GO… To YOU!
I GO… To SAFTY!
I GO…HOME!
