The loss of a parent

Ann Burris 1967 (Charlotte North Carolina)

March 23

The loss of a parent is heartbreaking
And causes you to be extremely sad
Just reflect on happy memories made
Being grateful for the time you had
Look at all the things they taught you
And the wonderful things you shared
Think of the times that you made them proud
And how they showed you they cared
Think of what you meant to them
And what they meant to you
Grieve, but go to your destiny
That’s just what they would want you to do !
