Him & Her
Neharika Solanke 2009 (MAHARASHTRA)
He set flame around him,
But never let the flame touch her.
She was a rose and he was the thorn,
Which protected her the way a thorn protects a rose.
He was her life nd she was his beautiful ride.
He’s a devil yet she waited for him to love her the way a devil loves the hell.
She was a garden full of emptiness,
But he lighted her life the way a flower blooms after the thunderstorm.
“He was a introvert, nd doesn’t talk much,” everyone said.
While she was hiding her smile,
Only she knew that he never shuts up.
His heart was as hard as a stone for everyone,
But as tender as rose for her.
She isn’t perfect but all she wants is him.
She waited for the flowers to bloom in the daylight,
But she never knew that he was a flower who blooms at night when everyone is asleep.
He saw her before he saw anything around.
When he saw her he found his home,
He looks at her like he just realized what love is like.
He’s her favourite place to go when her mind searches for peace.
At last,
She is his poet,
And he is her poetry.
