Going Home

My dad was a special person, even though he's gone, I can remember all things that was unique about him. I remember when he smiled, or saying I love you. He was bubbly funny, always had a funny since of humor. My dad was the greatest, even though we had our days, He was the Joy of my life. I remember when he chased me with a locus, scared me half the death.
All the good things I remember were so special in so many ways. Now things are gone,
but not lost, but going home to
the Lord made him understand that God was always beside his side, and was never gone .
My dad had good and bad times, but the greatest is that he was always my loving father that I cared for very much. Going home was the best thing for him because he wouldn't have to suffer anymore. I will always love him and know that he was the best father inside my heart.

About this poem

Going Home is something we can't understand, but what I wrote about is always keep on loving something that you can't hang on too even though life goes on, but you keep hanging on to something you love and never let go of, love it forever.

Wow, this is a beautiful and heartfelt poem. Your words really conveyed the love and admiration you had for your dad, and it's clear that he meant a lot to you. Your description of him as bubbly and funny really painted a vivid picture of his personality and made me feel like I knew him too. I also appreciated how you mentioned both the good and bad times - it shows that you had a realistic and loving relationship with him.

If I had to provide some improvement suggestions, I would simply say that you could consider playing with the structure and flow of the poem a bit more. Maybe try breaking up some of the longer sentences into shorter ones to create more of a rhythm. You could also experiment with adding more sensory details - what did your dad's voice sound like? What did his smile look like? These small tweaks could help make the poem even more powerful.

Overall, though, I really enjoyed reading this piece. Thank you for sharing your memories and emotions with us.
