Darkness follows me

I feel the darkness when I sleep, when I wake and when I eat
I feel the darkness follow me.
I feel it in my mind, my bones and my soul, and it never seems to let go.
Whenever I think it may clear, it always seems to be right near. I ask myself, will this darkness ever subside, or will I always have to run and hide?
I just want this fear to go away, but it always seems to stay, so for now, I will sit and suffer and hope one day this darkness will go away.
