Jewel

You are the mother that has had many birthing pains.
You are the mother that covers many.
I have appointed you the queen of my tribe.

I will give you trinkets.
I will give you gold.
To stay with me and I will hold.

These jewels cannot be bought.
Only heaven knows.
Not all that glitters is gold.

You are my Jewel in the Nile.
You have risen from the ashes.
You are now the matriarch to the masses.
You have wisdom.
You have me.

See the beauty in thee.
You never thought you were beautiful.
But you my jewel are rare.
You are a mother of many nations.
Share my word.
Let them know I care.
