Nina Vol'ga 1980

Whatever they say
We make our own choices,
Living our own way,
Living our lives through:
Irene, and me, and you.
Whatever they think,
We do establish a link
Between today and tomorrow.
And escaping from heartbreaking sorrows
We choose what we choose.
Some happiness maybe.
We have nothing to lose,
Except ourselves.
A heavy loss, isn’t it?
