Thickest skin
Trying to think of a good memory with my father,
It's seeming like I shouldn't bother.
The good ones that I do remember,
Have no truth and change like the weather.
Storms have brewed and left me battered,
So here I stand my childhood shattered.
But I am strong and will not falter,
Ill stand alone in open water.
Ill fight and help raise your kin,
For I am the one with the thickest skin.
