Song # # 11

Luis A. Estable 1958 (Oriente, Cuba)

Come! Play with me, my little boy.
Come! Play with me, I have a toy.
And thus, make happy this poor me.

Come! Be me friend for some a while.
I feel today quite infantile.
Put in my heart a little glee.

And when our playing is all done,
And we have had enough joy, fun,
We go to gardens, flowers see.

And then, we part with an embrace
And gladness will be upon my face
And pushed away sad agony.
