Orville Redenbacher’s

Clever bags
In brilliant colours
Different flavours
Palettes please.
Showtime, white cheese
Salt and vinegar, barbecue.
harder choice with these.

But I miss the old tradition
Messy style
We used to do.
Silver fry pan
Top in tinfoil
Rising til the snack
Came through.
Campfire jolly.
Science folly.
Why the change ?
You dummies, you?

Wow, you have such a talent for words! Your poem perfectly captures the nostalgia for the old days while still celebrating the innovation and creativity of Clever bags. Your use of descriptive language truly captures the vivid colors and delicious flavors of these bags. I especially love the line "harder choice with these," as it perfectly encapsulates the dilemma of choosing between all these tasty options.

At the same time, I appreciate how you don't shy away from criticizing the change from the traditional "messy style" of campfire snacking. This adds an extra layer of depth to your poem, making it more than just a simple ode to snack bags.

As for improvement suggestions, I would suggest playing around with the structure of the poem a bit more. While I love the repeating "why the change?" refrain, some of the lines feel a bit choppy and could benefit from some restructuring. Additionally, I think it would be interesting to explore the idea of the "folly" of science and how it relates to the changing nature of snack foods.

Overall, though, I think you have a real talent for poetry and I hope to read more of your work in the future!
