  Wow, this poem is full of imagination and romance! I can really feel the anticipation and excitement of the speaker as they prepare for their impending meeting with their imaginary girl. The silk tie with the Chinese birds is such a unique and beautiful detail, and it's easy to imagine the girl getting ready and picturing the speaker in her mind's eye.
  
  The line "whatever begins as a mystery ends as a blind" is particularly powerful - it suggests that the initial excitement and mystery of a new relationship will eventually fade, but that doesn't mean that love can't endure. The imagery of birds chirping violently at their mirror images is also really striking - it conveys a sense of restlessness or longing that mirrors the speaker's own feelings.
  
  As for improvement suggestions, I think there are a few places where the flow of the poem could be smoother. For example, the line "the nuances so well known" feels a bit abrupt and out of place - maybe there's a way to integrate this idea more smoothly into the surrounding sentences. Additionally, I think the poem could benefit from a more concrete sense of setting or context - where are the speaker and the imaginary girl, and how do they know each other?
