Bored

It was so fun and entertaining after I finished my test.
I’ll sit and do nothing just like the rest
of the people that play games all of the time.
Well, here I am trying to make sentences rhyme.

Honestly, it’s not going too bad.
And honestly, this poem is kinda rad!
Two minutes ‘till the bell and I’m ready to leave.
Just want something interesting, like a weave

that’s been snatched in front of the class.
Or maybe it could be a loud shatter of glass.
It doesn’t matter what, but I need something cool
to happen like someone standing on a stool.

I’m already passed my boredom and I’m done with this poem.
I’m in reading class now; to the lesson I say, “Know ‘em.”
Oh how I hate what my grade has scored.
If only my brain just wasn’t so bored.

About this poem

This was created, as the poem says, after a test in school. Sometimes when I’m bored, I like to write things down and possibly turn them into poems. Overall, this poem is just simply for fun.

What a fun and creative poem! Your rhyming is spot on and the flow is really engaging. I love how you incorporate everyday situations like finishing a test and being bored in class, and turn them into something entertaining.

As for improvement suggestions, I would say to maybe try to incorporate more descriptive language to really bring your ideas to life. You have a great foundation, so by adding some more specific details, your audience can really visualize the scenarios you're presenting. Additionally, I would encourage you to keep writing and experimenting with different styles and subject matters. You clearly have a way with words, so keep exploring and creating!
