Pretty Thing
Pretty monarch in the sky
Red royal cape evil
Yet she spreads them and flies
Red and black painted cloth'd easel
Quickly catch my wandering eye
Colors of death
They distract my brain, dumb and feeble
I'll watch you fly, til my final breath
Yet I hold no anger
Your beauty seduces me into loyalty
Your creator's craft
Deceitful, skilled, pretty, and lethal
You are such a Pretty Thing
Rule over my being
Pretty, pretty queen
Reign over the skies mighty and high
Your Highness,
You Monarch
Butterfly
About this poem
I have always loved butterflies ever since I first laid eyes on one. This poem is about one of the most healthy, beautiful, and biggest monarch butterfly I have ever seen.
