The Path of Least Resistance

When will we stop putting badaids on wounds that require surgery?
The cries of pain within are what caused us to bleed internally.
Pushing back your healing, in fear of the mess it will become.
Meanwhile creating damage that cannot be undone.
How long will you allow it to define you?
There's a path awaiting, it's time to renew.
No more settling for the path of least resistance.
It's time to take a stand, and travel the path of persistence.
It may look long and dark, but at the end, the light is illuminating.
Pick up your cross and begin, Jesus is there waiting.
He's watched your struggles, and has counted every tear.
Watched you get up and survive  every day, each year.
Survive no longer, but instead live and grow.
He's brought the healing your weary soul has longed for.
All because you gave up the path of least resistance.
The wounds that were bandaged, are now healed with His existence.
Marvel not at the things that are in the past
Jesus is here and His love will always last.
Persistence in God's will is admirable in the eyes of the Lord
It's one of the many things He is eager to reward.
Keep fighting, and walking in your destiny.
And always trust that Jesus is your remedy.
