i walked in

People fall in love, But I walked in
I was waiting; I knew it was you
When I saw what you could do.
=========
ransoming the night captive
revealing the moon's beauty
giving it a chance to cater
the lonely and broken.
Some light on the road to redemption
==========

I want to cuddle the fog off your breath
in the palms of my hand
on a cold December morning
Plaster it against the glass
and write my name
============

I saw what you gave me.
An empty page to list my needs
So I did the unthinkable
I just drew your heart
And it faded away into the page
To try again.
===========

I witnessed you in my frenzy
Touching empty spots.
ironically, you were away
not thinking of me
People fall in love,
I walked in,
I just wanted to finish the trip
And fade into you.
===========
