If I can ease one the pain
Or catch one when they fall
My life will have been worth living


And if I could give the blessing
The blessing of a new
My life will have been worth living

If I can help the quiet
Find their sound
My life will have been worth living


 And if I could help a light in the dark
To shine a little brighter
My life will have been worth living

If I can be an ear
An ear to listen
My life will have been worth living

And if I could help one rid a fear
An overwhelming fear
My life will have been worth living
