Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day by Kelsey mccullough everyday I sit in ponder as valentine's day draws near I sit in Wonder to myself what it is I fear. Only when it's meant to be only one person is meant to have the key. I would like somebody to accept me for me not to play games or to cheat on me then were too many relationships it wasn't meant to be. Too many breakups too many reasons why too many kids too many goodbye. I long to find my soulmate who is meant to be from the rising Sun to the shining sea. Every Valentine's Day I am reminded it wasn't meant to be I don't think I believe in love there is no love for me. I don't believe in love no more the magic is all gone I'll never find somebody to love although for them I long. Only one person is meant to have the key that's when I'll know it's destiny. When it's meant to be the Stars will be a light somebody to wipe my tears and tell me it's all right. But it was never meant to be I do not see you and me my heart may be too blind to see. When I look at you I see no Love in Your eyes you are not my soulmate that is all lies. You play games with my heart and go and cheat you are not the one who makes me complete. Love is like a crazy thing like a butterfly it will soar if you stomp on my heart I will kick you out the door. Love it's like a butterfly it has special wings to fly when I find my love whatever one day I hope it is special I hope it will stay. Every time I see your face whether you're near or far I know you are my soulmate but I Wonder who You are. Love is like a butterfly ready to spread its wings to really open up my eyes and show me amazing things. You will show me things I never saw before all my past breakups we will burn that door. You will tell me it's forever you will never cheat we'll stay together. And you make me complete you must go and promise me you'll never lie or cheat. You must promise our love is forever whatever happens will always be together you say you will not lie you say you will not cheat but something clicks inside you you do not feel complete. You lied to me you promised me wouldn't lie or cheat I should have known you were lying from my heart right to my feet . Then you lied to me again we will never meant to be a real guy who accepts his flaws will love me for me. You make up excuses and reasons why you can't say we didn't try. We tried hard but the problem is I didn't stay true a million times I tried to change myself for you. Why would I do something this is not the way to be why can't a guy not love me for me. Where is the beauty that I see inside the beauty they love but I try to hide. Maybe one day they will finally see they will be a guy who will love me for me. Every Valentine's Day I sit alone cuz I have no one to call my own. I'll find it one day when time is ready for me by then it will be destiny. Link together forever never apart finally I'll find the one who has the key to my heart. I don't know where you are I don't know where you roam near or far we'll have our own place to call home. One day I want to find you no matter where you'll be it's destiny. The Stars will shine bright and the moon will glow I will love you more than you ever will know. One day I'll find you I hope my love pure as white as the wings of a dove. Whether you are near or far I know I'll find you soon but I don't know who you are. I'm just longing to find someone to love and see the beauty I don't see somebody who will love me for just being me from each rising Sun to each shining Moon I hope I find you one day I hope I meet you real soon.
