Tango Cannabis

Two plants, one species apart,
Sativa and Indica, share each other's heart.
One brings energy and the other calm,
In the Tango Cannabis, a sacred dancing psalm.

Sativa, the tall one, is wild and free,
Moving to the rhythm of creativity,
Igniting the mind and awakening the soul,
A partner in the Tango Cannabis, its liveliest role.

Indica, the shorter one, gentle and serene,
A silky partner gliding upon a dream,
Bringing relaxation in the wee small hours,
In the Tango Cannabis, blooming Blue Dream flowers.

Together they clutch, dancing cheek to cheek,
In the Tango Cannabis, making things less bleak,
Sativa and Indica, beneath a ballroom of stars,
Dance to the sinuous strings of the Flamenco guitar.

About this poem

I imagined the two main strains of cannabis as tango partners in dance.
