Riddle, Riddle, Take a Guess!
I am hypocrisy, what am I?
I am angry, what am I?
I am judgemental, what am I?
I am disappointed, what am I?
I am moments of affection between moments of screams, what am I?
I am the imaginary thing holding a pillow to your face, what am I?
I am all the wrong things you seek, what am I?
I am the reason you hide in your room, what am I?
I am the monster that stole your dignity, what am I?
I am at no fault, what am I?
I am the eyes you see in the mirror, what am I?
Am I the one who gave you gave you life or took it?
Is your spirit free-flowing as it should, or shattered into pieces that not even you recognize?
I’ll give you a hint!
We share the same nose, who am I?
We share a face shape, who am I?
We share pupils, who am I?
We share a last name, who am I?
We share anger issues, who am I?
We share even our penmanship, who am I?
What are you without me?
Who is to say I didn’t give you life and take it?
Make your spirit and break it?
You are my copycat whether you like it or not.
Isn’t it such a silly little game we play?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Take a guess, don’t be shy!
I am you and you are me.
One day you will be your worst fear.
How silly to be afraid of your future.
Especially one you know is coming.
People become me all the time, it happens to the best of us.
You say “I am different, I am not like them!”
How naive, you are like us, if not worse.
What am I?
Who am I?
Take a guess!
I am the dread in your stomach,
The shame, the anger, that hate.
I am your blood.
Who am I?
They say there is nothing like the love of a father and daughter, how silly.
Who am I?
