Cassandra

i stare at her
as if i have seen
an angel
entranced by a smile
that could erase
an entire world
of all its sorrows
she has the most
beautiful eyes
and in them
i see my life
and the whole purpose
for my existence
i see children
not yet born
my soul
now swims in a sea
that overflows with
the love i have
for her
my heart fills with
every word that
leaves her mouth
every syllable
she speaks
is a sweet song
which makes
song birds weep
i close my eyes
and loose myself
in the rapture
of her presence
i cry silently because
mine is a destiny
truly defined....
