Our Guardian Angel

Your man made wings fell from the sky
Your family wept and wondered why
His plan for you was not yet clear
On earth a pain we could not bear
Days and nights turned into years
But time has yet to stop the tears
Our comfort comes from those we love
and knowing you're at His table above
You now have wings so you can fly free
and be the guardian Angel for your whole family

About this poem

My sister was killed in a plane crash on 12/9/1994 and I wrote this poem as a tribute
