Heaviness in my eyes

The heaviness in my eyes falls
Drooping over your memory.

Screaming
Crawled up on the ground
Unable to let you go

They drag me away
My nails bleed
The ceramic floor wails
Trying to grab on to me
Trying to let me hold on to my love for you
Trying to not let me go

But Alas,
You stand there
Holding your hand out for me
My bloody hands reach out
Looking over at the ounce of hope thrown

You look at me
No remorse
Snatch your hand away
Letting my head smash into the ceramic floors
Letting them pull me away from you
And the heaviness in my eyes gives in.
