Dark Side of Heaven

God has his favorites like saint's children and babies
But us sinners fade in the eye once we begin to act all crazy
Even though we're covered as he says
Look in your parents eyes is disappointment there or joy
Because of the choices you made be honest
Like me my mom coming around but
My dad doesn't understand and it tore us apart
So much i hate his guts just because I sold my soul
Just to serve I was five and damn near dead
Laying in a hospital bed blood flowing out my head
I was dead an felt the burn of where I was
But it was no demons in site i seen God behind a gate
That wasn't the gates of heaven when I passed through them
I was attacked by the heavens 12 disciples of the cloth
I was on the wrong side of heaven and nowhere near hell
I'm in heaven but it feels like hell the vold
Didn't have nothing on this place i'd dwell
The dark side of heaven isn't a place for wrong or right
Its for the chosen few the knows the truth
Or been there between the raise and fall of Lucifer crew
