Sonnet IV
Into my dream thou camest one late night,
Wherein thou didst possess my heart with bliss.
Discovering compassion in my plight,
Thou didst leave me awakened with a kiss!
Thy lips are still apprized in memory,
As enshrined in my diary of hope.
Thy name is as the bedroom master-key.
I pine and yearn with longing to elope.
Jacqueline, wilt thou comest yet again,
To woo me gently with an artful song?
For phantasms of thee I shant disdain.
Evidently, thou canst do me no wrong.
'Tis with all my love, I write this letter
A pledge to thee: for worse or for better.
