What the lady longed for

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Looking up at the heavens
And the galaxies filled with angels
The lady longed for her gentleman
Whom spaketh love so grand
She wore a white velvet shawl
And a smile to rival all
Her eyes were made so golden
And her hair a blanket fair
Her lips drew lines between the stars
Her hand kissed many a time
She was a lady goddess
She was the sweetest of the devine
She circled planets wistfully with every step so fresh
Her sorrow deep her joy exdatic a freedom kindly blessed
A heartbeat so close to God in pace
An eternal seal of love was her face
Said, the gentle God
When she blessed him with her grace
