wounded but not broken.

danellie thomas 1989 (united states)

often found myself crying day in & out. was loving someone that had torn my heart apart. He made me many promises, and it was so many he couldn't keep. And, i was wondering why i kept being so nice, and sweet. He was abusive verbally , & mentally also physically.

But, it was prayer that kept me here mentally. the hear the sounds
of my children voices had given me strength to make it day by day. Often found myself down on my knees praying God give me strength to make it though the day..

I was deeply damaged, but not wounded. there was days where the clouds in my life seemed so dark & grey. lord please heal my heart mind, and soul. because, i no longer wanna feel unwhole. one day i looked into the mirror & said. I can do all things that strengthens me! Don't you dare get weary in well doings. joy cometh in the morning.
