Tomorrow

When tomorrow you wake up and don’t find me beside you
You realize what had happened and find yourself all alone;
You think about the time we spent together and the time we couldn’t
You smile thinking about the jokes and cry thinking about us,
Just know, my dear, you have to make yourself strong enough.

I wish, so much that you’ll find
A hope again to start living a life
A hand to provide you strength
And a protector and a teacher, much, much more strong and kind.

Don’t cry, my dear, I want you to know
That even if we’re not together, I’ll still be here,
Looking at you with a smile just as precious as yours
And just as pure as my soul.

But when tomorrow you wake up and don’t find me beside you,
Just know that you’ll always find me here for you.
I’ll be looking at you, from Heaven above,
And shower you with all my goodness and love;
Just when tomorrow you wake up and don’t find me beside you…

About this poem

Some people hold great importance and create a tremendous impact on our life. They create such an impact that we don't know life without them. And when that person leaves, it always creates a hole in our hearts, our souls.
