Solemn winter

I look up in the grey sky to find the sun is hidden in the clouds.
Feels like a bruise.
Like everything is over now.
I think I have drowned, or i hope I will.
The nightmares here and real.
I do not know how to fight them.
The feeling of a solemn winter.

About this poem

I wrote this poem about the feeling of pain and sorrowfulness during the wintertime. Almost as if when the weather gets colder you cant help but feel this hopelessness.
