Remember

Gabrielle Delacruz 1997 (east Los Angeles)

Remembering those times. the late nights trying to understand finding the words. as time has stolen our youth but in a positive, way for me of course remembering the times when I was foolish and I was  stuck and Lost in my rebellious ways, thought I knew everything f*** I was wrong playing it back like a repeated song. late night bombfires sitting under the Stars remembering those times as a kid when  life wasn't  so f***** up but now I wake up to a brand new day blessed as always blessed for a second chance blessed to take care of my son being his mother.  he comes first always, as these streets raised me but god had other plans  for me please try to truly understand life may be hard at times but never give up and  never take life for granted as you sit back thinking to  yourself that  at one point you never thought   you were going to make it to see  another year. full of fear surrounded by your own nightmares at times i couldn't even bare  to even stare into my own reflection. remember those times I was lost deep within these caps of my own pain but now I got alot more that I have gained that's a second chance to live and Love and be my son's mother
