From a forgotten heart

When there's no need to protect me
Please bless me with your smile
For it points the way to your love
Through your star streamed eyes

Perhaps look at the tree lines
Blowing closely in the dark
Or the nature tooked away as you walk alone in the park

When there's no need to protect me
And I've forgotten the good that you've done
Please refrain from the sadness
For my heart you already won

Perhaps the angels will fill some need
that calls out to your soul
When mine strays far from attending you as my attention departs

When there's no need to protect me
And you see me home and safe
Please surrender your words of hope to the moonlight on Gods humble face

Perhaps its glory surpasses the elegance that you understand and take ahold upon a light hidden by life's hand
