Natalie Grant, Gospel Artist

Douglas Blair 1951 (London)

She holds her Concert.
Large crowd quiet
For such a number of seats.
Orchestra will be major help.
The Blonde walks out
To loving applause.
Black blouse and slacks.
Tattoo at the inside wrist.
First song, almost
Sweetly whispered.
You are Always There.
(Psalm 139.)
Folks standing in respect.
Bodies weaving
Arms stretched up.
Eyes closed.
Perhaps even singing
Softly along.
Mother holding young child.
Husband’s arm over her shoulder.
Agreement in the place.
Wonder, thanksgiving.
God.
Not silly emotion…
God.
Such is Worship.
