crave
I crave to mine her
extract a deposit
Just some relic souvenirs....
A palm print on my chest
A footstep she forgot
A token for my final trip
Was it too much?
Money comes and go
It pays for a beautiful funeral
it stops at the grave's edge.
But memory is engraved
into my bones, tattooed in my sins
A testament to god to judge me
The only sin I’m proud of...
He should be proud of me.
For he taught us he is all love & giving
And so am I, a little selfish, yes
Just a little over-dedicated to you, my love
So tell me, dear reader,
what would you do?
Wouldn't you crave a part of her?
