Echoes of Agony and Empathy
Amidst the turmoil of life's tempestuous sea,
Where tides of woe and grief do e'er abound,
I see the sufferings of others' plea,
And feel my own pain anew, thus found.
For every tear that falls from someone's cheek,
A thousand memories of my own afflict,
The pangs of loss and sorrow's haunting meek,
Bring back the days I too did suffer, sift.
The echoes of my strife and agony,
Are found within their cries of misery,
Their pain a mirror of my own, doth be,
And brings me to a state of empathy.
For as I see them struggling to survive,
I am reminded of how I too did strive.
And though my wounds have long since healed with time,
The scars remain a symbol of my climb.
Yet, still I find solace in their plight,
For in their struggles, I see hope's light,
That one day they too will find release,
And find the joy that comes with peace and peace.
So let me be a friend in their distress,
And offer them a hand to ease their stress.
For in their sufferings, I see my own,
And find the strength to carry on, anon,
And though the journey may be rough and long,
Together we will conquer, and be strong.
So let us stand, in friendship, side by side,
And face the storms of life with courage tried.
And though we may stumble, and fall apart,
We'll rise again, with strength that's from the heart,
For even in the darkness of the night,
We'll find the courage to keep up the fight.
And when the sun breaks through the clouds once more,
We'll bask in its warm and loving lore,
And know that through our trials we've grown,
And learned to cherish life, and all it's shown.
So let us not be broken by the pain,
But use it as a tool to gain,
For though the road ahead may seem unclear,
We'll find the strength to persevere.
And as we look back on our strife,
We'll see the beauty in our sacrifice.
So let us hold tight to each other's hand,
And face the future, strong, and well-planned,
For even in the midst of all our fears,
We'll find the courage to conquer our tears.
And when the storm has passed, and all is calm,
We'll bask in peace, with love as our balm,
And cherish memories of days gone by,
When we stood together, never to die.
For though the pain of suffering may linger,
It will be but a footnote, a singer,
Of the song of life, and all its strife,
And how we stood together, through it all, with life.
And when our journey's end is finally near,
We'll look back, with no regrets, nor fear,
For we'll have lived a life that was full,
With love and laughter, and joy, as our rule.
So let us embrace the pain of others' plight,
And find the courage to make it right,
For in their sufferings, we'll find our own,
And rise above it, as a shining dawn.
