Found love

Marty Gargas 1977 (Indiana)

The love I once had
I thought, was forever gone
I didn't know what to do
Which way to turn, I had no clue

I thought this was it
Once more, even for a little bit
I was a soul lost
My head was in the clouds, nowhere to be found

Still deciding what to do
I didn't know which way to turn
Should I run or stay
To be kept here right at bay

Then that one day it seemed to turn all around
My eyes were astounded
I saw her walk through the door
I saw one smile, and I needed more

About this poem

It's how I felt when I finally found the love of my life.
