Sea

When I was Young
I dove deep into the sea
I thought that I could reach the bottom,
But I had to come up to breathe.
We spent so much time exploring
But we have only reached the top
Just like the sea, you cannot simply
Dip your toe in me & then stop
I am worth much more
Then what my surface holds
I hold hidden treasures
Like pearls, diamonds, and gold
You can spend years figuring me out
Like a pirate lost in a sea
But maybe one day you’ll realize
The greatest is simply me
